Administrative Assistant to Job-Site Superintendent

Assistant to Job-site Superintendent for Construction site in Mountain City, TN:
Industrial Air, Inc. is seeking an Assistant to our Job-site Superintendent for our Construction site in Mountain City, TN. The Candidate will assist the Job-site Superintendent with day to day activities as described below:
Working with the job-site superintendent or project manager in ordering supplies and things needed for the job-site to continue running efficiently.
Communicating with the Construction Manager regarding needs of the job-site.
Responsible for communicating equipment needs with the project manager and keep an updated inventory of all equipment and supplies and schedule routine maintenance.
Responsible for communicating with corporate HR Department by maintaining and ensuring accuracy of timesheets and expense reports are correct.
Assist HR with the processing of new hire employees and the proper documentation of terminations.
Work with local vendors
Create and maintain an electronic filing system
Ability to go and get supplies and/or run errands needed for the job
Perform other duties as assigned by the job-site superintendent as needed.
The prerequisites for employment include:
High School diploma or diploma/degree in business management or administrative assistant certificate preferred
Must have a current Driver's License and a clean driving record
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Must have excellent organizational skills
Must be able to multitask and be able to work well under pressure
Must be detail oriented
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Five years of experience in the construction industry a plus
Local candidate is preferred
Pre-employment Drug Screen and Background Check before job offer can be finalized

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
